Biographies - Michelle Huff

Michelle Huff was destined it seems, at some point in her life to sing gospel music. She was born into a musical family and being the oldest of the three children, she grew up listening to close harmony and big endings. When asked about growing up in a musical family, Michelle says, “I guess when you’re around it all the time it just becomes part of who you are.” Although, she did not become interested in singing early on, by the time she was in her twenties she was well established in the church choir and doing  solo work and special music in local churches. As her interest in singing increased, it seemed quite obvious that she would join her family’s music ministry.

When asked about her role with The Tom Walker Family she affectionately refers to herself as a fill in singer, “I’m the sweet creamy filling of the group.” Although Michelle does not sing a regular part, her solos and trio numbers with her mother and sister, Melinda, add a wonderful touch of variety to The Tom Walker Family concerts.

Besides singing, Michelle also enjoys all types of crafting, but she especially enjoys scrapbooking, and stamping. She resides in Butler, Pennsylvania with her husband Tim, who serves as The Tom Walker Family’s official photographer, and her precious son, Adam.
